I don’t usually engage in goodie hunts, they’re just not my thing. But earlier this week, when shopping at Gizza’s, I ran into this surprise; this really gorgeous gown in my absolute fave colour! I was sure that my closet holds enough half forgotten stuff to style it all up with. So I went for it and hunted it down.

I tackled the jewellery first and in my vast jewelbox I came across this old group gift from Finesmith.....Waaaay too nice to be lying there in hiding, unused!

My humongous shoe rack offered Redgrave’s Cathy. Just what I was looking for and in addition I could match the colour beautifully with the dress.

Nails cleverly done in Finesmith’s Lilac and I topped it all up with the Cohimbra HP hair by Vanity. Et voilà, there we have her; set to go for yet another great party.

Today I found myself in a strange mood of extravagance..... I went out nosing around and I bumped into:

For me, it strongly conjures up images of Piet Mondriaan’s brilliant play with lines and planes. I decided to style it with some gorgeous jewellery by Shi. It was – no surprise there - in Seraph City that we found this wonderful room with its checkered floor that so beautifully adds to the outfit’s design, to use as a backdrop.

We were in Seraph City, Seppe and me. Another great sim to shoot photographs. Seppe loves to take snapshots and he’s getting so good at it! What’s more: he’s so affordable too. All it takes is a couple of sloppy kisses and off he goes.....LOL! Anyway, we had us a great time in Seraph City; lots of stuff to see and do, all in an atmosphere and scenery of Dieselpunk, Art Deco and Prohibition. We love it.

Today I bring you this cute coloured outfit. The second I saw this, I knew I simply HAD to get it for my blog. It’s streetwear, so offbeat and versatile it seems to have a mind of its own. There’s color in abundance, there’s punk, there’s psychedelic, nerd, flowerpower, you name it.

Stepping into this outfit automatically puts me in a “let’s go have a good time” frame of mind.

Today my dear modeling friend and –colleague Petifab Ackland invited me to shoot some pics of Jador’s awesome new collection. Of course I was game: it’s always so much fun to do pics as well as shopping with Peti. So, like I mentioned, we decided to check out Jador this time and we weren’t disappointed! Dryland

Dryland

Seppe and I visited my friend Anita Witt’s amazing sim yesterday. It’s called Dryland (Anita’s Artspace & Anita Witt Photography) and it is simply won-der-ful!. As Anita describes it herself:

“A giant dry lake bed where hulks of rusted ships rest on dried, cracked mud. A once desert island with decayed warehouses now holds art galleries, while the surrounding landscape hosts gypsies, carnies and tradespeople. This is Dryland.”

It’s a great place to visit - do check it out – and absolutely snapshot heaven: There’s a huge variety of scenes, scenery and objects that make fanfastic backdrops for your photographs. Sooooooooo you guessed it: that’s exactly what we did: we shot a few pics for my blog. A great opportunity to show you two new outfits I purchased. I know, I can’t help myself......

First one up is Prism’s  “Maven in Spring Rain”, the green version. I styled it up with gorgeous jewellery by GizzA and BSD. I love how this outfit stands out against the crashed plane.

Second is by GizzA; a gorgeous blouse in luscious white satin, accompanied by lovely black pants – a great outfit to wander around in, relaxed and free....Maybe that’s why it looks so good on me standing on the gipsy wagon.
